As a result of the investigation, charges of making a terrorist threat – intimidation, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, and obstructing/resisting an officer – giving false information or non-physical resistance are being referred to Oneida County Department of Social Services. Two juvenile male subjects were identified as the likely persons responsible for the wrongdoing. Several interviews were conducted to determine who was responsible for the graffiti.Īt this time, the Minocqua Police Department has concluded the investigation involving the threatening graffiti that was written in the men’s restroom at LUHS. The school administration worked closely with the Minocqua Police Department to resolve this situation. On Jthe investigation continued and there was an increased law enforcement presence at school to ensure the safety of the students and staff on campus. It is important for everyone to understand we take these threats very seriously, and on behalf of the safety of the students and staff we will stand on the side of caution. In concern for the safety of the students and staff at the high school, on it was decided to cancel school to investigate the incident thoroughly.
